Anxiety - stress, worry or concern associated with increasing interaction with a website; typically strongest when filling out a form, providing personal or sensitive information, submitting a payment or deciding to call a business; can be overcome by being clear/specific and introducing credibility indicators in close proximity to the source of anxiety

B2B - business to business selling of products and services (no or little involvement); the B2B sales cycle tends to be longer and more educative than comsumer-facing businesses, with strong emphasis on addressing cost justification; tends to be more lead generation focused than B2C

Conversion - although it has many forms (lead captured, item sold, phone call received, etc.), a conversion is the completion of a desired action

Conversion Optimization - the process of improving conversion paths and conversion rates; increase the productive efficiency

Conversion Rate - the rate (%)
